...in an Otherwise Serious Situation Can Be a Good Thing...
Some housekeeping: There have been some issues with readers posting comments. I ask that you please keep on attempting to comment on posts. If after you hit "post comment" it doesn't read "your comment has been published" or you don't see you comment please, try again. And please let me know if your comment still doesn't appear by emailing me a jg@politicalthoughtsnow.com and include what post you were trying to comment on and what web browser and version you're using.
Lastly, believe it or not I do read the comments and respond to them. I also like to hear opposing views and criticism, so long as your comments are cordial. Do you not like something? Would you like to see something. More of something? Less of something? Your feedback is appreciated.
fyi: I've posted some "test" comments both anonymously and as JG but not logged in. The comments have posted. Hopefully your comments will post going forward.
"We Have No Idea What We Are Talking About" definitely made me laugh the most but "Don't Steal From Medicare To Support Socialized Medicine" is my favorite.
ReplyDeleteI bet you want Obama to bring back Arrested Development.
Yeah, the Arrested Development one was great. I didn't get the "Asian people killing grandmother/father" one. If someone can explain it to me please do.
ReplyDeleteI also really like the one that quoted the bible. If you're going to take one part of the bible literally don't you have to take all of it literally?
And of course the misspellings of the some of the signs is funny.
Runner up for my favorite is "The Brownest Thing on this Block.." sign.
My favorite though is the "Free Speech For All, Even Dou$he Bag$" sign.
Good news and bad news on getting Arrested Development back on the air.
ReplyDeleteGood news is Obama supports it, a majority of the House and Senate support it and over 70% of Americans support it.
Bad news is the bill has been watered down in an attempt to gain Republican support, even though they will still vote No, and is now bill to get a 3 AM showing of Teen Wolf Too on USA.
Youth in Asia is hopefully a play on the word euthanasia.
I guess I'll have to watch Teen Wolf Too then. Justin Bateman before he was funny, oh well.
ReplyDeleteOK, I didn't get anywhere near the "euthanasia" answer. Their dumbness made me dumb. I was sitting here racking my brain trying to figure out what kids in Asia had to do with grandparents. Haven't these people heard of spell check or old school dictionary?
Reminds me of the part in the Odd Couple when Oscar tells Felix (Unger) that it took Oscar all day to figure out that FU on the toilet paper stood for Felix Unger.
Another "test" comment to make sure it's still working...
